General

Can I download Medbasin for free?

Yes, Medbasin is currently distributed free of charge for research, personal or academic use.

I am trying to download the program, but I receive an error message.

The security settings of your browser or your server may block the download process. Check your browser’s options or contact with your server’s administrator. If the problem persists please report it to Medbasin Support Team and we will try to provide you the software with some other way.

I installed the software, but a serial number is required to continue...

You can get the serial number from here, there is no charge involved. Optionally, you may fill the Registration Form, which will help our team to improve Medbasin.

Is MS Excel required to import data in Medbasin?

No, you may enter the data manually in the ‘Data Tables’ window. However, importing the files from MS Excel will significantly facilitate the whole procedure, so it is highly recommended to be installed on the system.

I have MS Excel ’95 installed on my computer but it does not seem to work properly with Medbasin…

Medbasin works with Excel ’97 or higher versions; the compatibility with MS Excel ’95 is limited.
